A very wet start to May

It has been a wet May so far in the city of Liberty. From May 1st through the 14th, 12.13 inches of rain was recorded at the official National Weather Service gauge here at KSHN Radio. Much of that total fell last week. For the period from Monday through Sunday of last week, 10.06 inches was recorded. As we reported, 5.25 inches of that total fell from Thursday at 5:30 a.m. to Friday morning at 5:30. Again, that’s a total of 12.13 inches of rain in the city of Liberty so far for the month of May. Of note, the historical average for May in Liberty is 5.58 inches.
