Sidewalk Projects: In December of last year the City of Liberty embarked on a sidewalk improvement project. On a recent kshn.com Party Line program Liberty City Manager Tom Warner said the first project will be on the east side of the courthouse. Tom Warner said the reason the city choose this area to start is because of the steep elevation change from street to sidewalk. The new sidewalk improvement will allow people to access businesses on the eastside of the court house, more safely. Once the first sidewalk project is complete the City Manager said they will start improving the sidewalks in other parts of downtown.
