Feral Hog Death: We have reported a Liberty woman, Christine Rollins-59 was attacked and killed by feral hogs early Sunday morning near Anahuac in Chambers Co. It’s one of the most disturbing incidents we have ever reported on at KSHN. Since the hogs, that attacked Christine Rollins of Liberty have not been found – the question we hope to find an answer to, is that specific attacking hog more likely to be a danger to other humans because of this attack. Sheriff Hawthorne is sure the hogs are still on the lose. Traps have been set but to no avail. Research tells us there have been only 6 such fatal cases in recorded history by feral hogs on humans. We learned NON-FATAL attacks 412 such incidents have been recorded, mostly in Texas, with 665 victims. Now there have been 7 fatal hog attacks in history.
