Flu Cases: Experts are reporting the number of influenza cases continue to spike periodically. For example, an outbreak of flu at the West Hardin school district has created a crisis that prompted school closures so students can recover and the facilities could be disinfected. Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center CEO Matt Thornton said, in addition to flu, there are several flu-like viruses that can be just as bad if contracted. The Liberty Jubilee is today and tomorrow in downtown Liberty. Mr. Thornton said don’t avoid heading out for all the fun for fear of exposure to flu, but Jubilee organizers have included hand washing stations on the festival grounds. He advises using them often.
