West Nile: A third human case of West Nile Virus has been reported in Liberty County. According to Liberty County Emergency Management Coordinator Tom Branch, all three confirmed West Nile cases have been detected in the 77575 zip code, that’s the Liberty area. Emergency Management Coordinator Tom Branch said help protect yourself by using insect repellent with DEET, drain standing water, wear long sleeves and pants at dawn and dusk and keep screens on doors and windows.
