ClevelandMan Sent to Jail: One of the five juveniles who were given probated sentences for their role in the infamous Cleveland gang rape case is going to prison. Earlier this week 75thDistrict Judge Mark Morefield revoked the deferred adjudicated probation of Kevann Zanders now an adult, then sentenced him to seven years in prison. Court records show that Judge Morefield found that Zanders had violated the terms of his probation. Back in January we reported Brad Lewis, now age 19, was arrested on drug charges in Montgomery County. Lewis was also a juvenile sentenced to probation for his part in the notorious sexual assaults in 2010. Now, he too is awaiting possible revocation of that probated sentence. To date, three of the individuals given probation after pleading guilty to sexual assault of a child in the Cleveland case either may soon have their probation revoked, or in one case, have already forfeited their freedom.
