ClevelandRape Investigation: There are officially no more details available on the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in Clevelandover last weekend. Reliable sources say if a sexual assault occurred in Cleveland, it probable did not involve multiple attackers and attempts to link this incident to another infamous case by some media outlets are mistaken, since there is no evidence a gang rape took place, in this instance.


TVE Trail Ride: The annual Trinity Valley Exposition Trail Ride sign up starts this afternoon at 4 p.m. at the Johnston Ranch on FM 1011 in Hardin. Cost is $15 for ages 13 and up, $5 for those 7 to 12 years old. Those six and under are free. Fall Food Festival: Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church will hold its 18thAnnual Fall Food Festival today, tomorrow and Sunday on the church grounds in Ames. Tonight at 7, it’s a big block party with food and drinks. Tomorrow starting at 10 a.m.the annual festival continues with gospel singing, gumbo contest, vendors, children’s train ride, plus food and drink. There will also be live music tomorrow night starting at 9 p.m.Sunday concludes the event starting with an 8:30 a.m.Catholic Mass.That’s followed by fried chicken dinners and barbecue. There will be games and rides. That’s all this weekend at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, in Ames, just off US 90 at the railroad tracks crossing. For information call (936) 336 3004.
