More on Human Remains: The Liberty County Sheriff’s Department has received a preliminary report on the human bones found back on April 12 and 13 in the area of Highway 59 and C.R. 322 in North Liberty County. Sheriff’s Captain Ken DeFoor said, while they still do not know the identity of the person whose remains were recovered, authorities have ruled out all known local missing persons. Dental records confirm the bones are not those of 19-year-old Aaron Stokley of Cleveland, missing since 2008. According to Captain DeFoor, the human remains are those of an unknown Hispanic male, age 15 to 20. He is said to have been 5-foot-5-inches to 5-foot-7-inches tall. Anyone with information, call the sheriff’s at 936-336-4500.
