Cleveland PD: An early morning traffic stop by Cleveland Police led to the seizure of more than $200,000 and a money laundering investigation. Police Captain Scott Felts said officers stopped a vehicle on U.S. 59 for speeding in the early morning hours of Monday. The driver and passenger identified themselves as residents of Pennsylvania; however discrepancies in their statements led to a search of the vehicle. Inside they found a safe that was later found to contain the cash. The names of the driver and passenger are being withheld and no charges have been filed. There is an ongoing investigation.
