Meth Lab Bust: Four people were arrested Wednesday afternoon on drug charges after the Cleveland PD found a methamphetamine lab. Cleveland Police Captain Scott Felts said Sunshine Bush, 31 of Cleveland, Gerald Kamenicky, 29 of Willis, Gary Bryan III, 22 of Houston and Jimmy Martin 46 of Porter were all arrested and charged with the possession/transport of chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance.

LPD Arrest at Park: A 33-year-old Ames man, Orlando Cook, has been charged with attempted indecency with a child by exposure. Liberty Police were called to the city park in reference to a male in the women’s restroom. When police arrived they found Orlando Cook. Liberty Police Officer Jennifer Bowles said Cook had a previous criminal trespass warning for the city park and as a result he was arrested Sunday.  Upon further investigation, detectives received a warrant on Wednesday for attempted indecency with a child by exposure. That warrant was signed by Justice of the Peace Pct 1 Stephen Hebert. At last report, Orlando Cook of Ames remained in the Liberty County Jail under a total of $6,000 in bonds.

Prostate Screening: Another Reminder: The Liberty-Dayton Regional Medical Center and KSHN Radio are hosting a free prostate screening clinic tomorrow from 8 a.m. to noon at the hospital. No reservations are needed. The free screening will be done on a first-come, first served basis and moves quickly at the Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center.

DaytonRotary Gumbo: The Dayton Rotary Club will be holding their fund raiser gumbo luncheon on Friday February 1st.  They will serve from 10:30 am until 2 pm or until they sell out.
