Woman Air Lifted: An accident on Hwy 90 in Liberty resulted in 57-year-old Joanne Williams of Liberty being airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. According to Liberty police, for unknown reasons, Ms. Williams lost consciousness while attempting to put her SUV in “park”. Instead, the vehicle landed in reverse when she collapsed. The SUV sped backwards scraping one of the gas pumps, and then continued out on to Hwy 90 where her SUV hit the side of an 18-wheel tractor trailer rig stopped at a red light. Police say it is not known why the woman collapsed, but thought to be due to a pre-existing medical condition. Police have not confirmed that.
