Arrest: Liberty Police arrested a Dayton man, Jonathan Ford, 27, when he refused to leave Jax Restaurant. According to Officer Jennifer Boles, Mr. Ford entered Jax’s Restaurant on the courthouse square in Liberty yesterday morning at 9:30 asking for a drink. Because he did not want to order anything, staff reportedly offered the man water, which he refused. When the man would not order anything, Officer Boles said he was asked to leave by the staff. After being asked 4 times to leave and refusing, police were called. When the Dayton man still did not leave, he was arrested for criminal trespass and taken to the Liberty County Jail.
