Student Critical: The 11-year-old girl struck by a truck early Monday morning while walking to the bus stop is said, by her mother, to be in critical, but stable condition. Nancy Davie said her daughter suffered a severe head injury and is currently in an induced coma at Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston.  The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the accident that caused the little girl’s severe injuries. Lions Club Auction: The Dayton Noon Lions Club annual Radio Auctions are coming this Thursday with a 6 p.m. start and again Saturday morning beginning at 9 a.m. As always, it’s a great way to do some Christmas shopping at home while supporting the Noon Lions Clubs community projects.
