Election Return Coverage: KSHN Radio will have live election returns Tuesday night. We expect a shorter than usual broadcast this year, since, as reported there are only five contested local races and one U.S. Congressional race on the Liberty County ballot. We will also have returns from Chambers County where there is only one contested local race plus one State Representative race. Chambers County voters will also be casting ballots in the District #36 congressional race. Our broadcast begins shortly after the polls close at 7 p.m.

Blood Drive: There is a blood drive today from 2-6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Dayton. For information call (936) 298 2689.

Football: It’s the next to the last week of the high school football regular season. The undefeated Dayton Broncos are off this week. The 1-7 Liberty Panthers host the 5-3 Shepherd Pirates tonight at 7:30 p.m. You can hear that game online or on 99.9 fm. On KSHN.com the 1-7 Hardin Hornets welcome the undefeated Newton Eagles. That game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. in Hornets Stadium. The Hull-Daisetta Bobcats, 5-3 on the season are hosting the 3-5 West Hardin Oilers at 7 p.m. You can hear that game online. TarkingtonSchoolBoard Election: This Tuesday, the Tarkington School District will hold a trustee election. The position #5, #6, and #7 incumbents are not seeking reelection. Running for position #5 is Cathy Miller Bowen, Keith Vandiver, Amanda Kilgore Martin, Becky Ellington and Leann McComas. Two candidates are in the running for position #6 they are Duane Stovall and Molly Lambert. Then, the candidates for Position #7 are Grant Cook, Patricia De Spain and Bryan Harvey.

J.C. Burnham, 74 of Liberty. Services Monday at 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Liberty. Visitation Sunday at the church 5-8 pm.
