Services Set: Services have been set for J.C. Burnham who passed away Tuesday afternoon at 4:45 at St. Lukes Hospital in Houston.  The visitation will be Sunday from 5 p.m until 8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Liberty. Funeral services will also be held at the church Monday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Cooke Memorial Cemetery in Liberty.

TVE Totals: With the sale totals, and the add-on now tallied, this years Trinity Valley Exposition hit another all time record. On sale day, we reported the total for the 2012 Youth Livestock Sale was over $291,000. The total sales, for the youth auction and freezer sale plus add-ons, has now climbed to $371,091.

ClevelandWal-Mart Incident: Cleveland Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the person responsible for an incident at the Cleveland Wal-mart on Sunday. Public Information Officer Captain Scott Felts said just before midnight Sunday, someone mixed several chemicals together in a container. That mixture caused a gas to fill the store, which had to be evacuated. The Cleveland Fire Department neutralized the container with its unknown hazardous material. Captain Felts said their investigation is focusing on someone seen near the location where the incident began wearing a Halloween costume. Anyone with information about the person responsible is asked to call the Cleveland Police Department at (281) 592-2622 or their tip line at (281) 592-0800.

Volleyball: The Hardin Lady Hornets volleyball team faces the Poth Lady Pirates in the area round of the state playoffs tonight. That game is at 6 p.m. in the Columbus High School Gym in Columbus. Also in the area round of the state playoffs, the Liberty Lady Panthers take on the Houston Sterling Lady Raiders tonight at 7 p.m. at C.E. King High School in Houston.
