missing man news story 02.05.10 liberty county sheriff’s department continues to seek information on a missing 54-year-old plum grove man. according to sheriff’s public information officer steve green, larry baker sr. was reported missing by his sister last friday morning from his home in the 400 block of county road 325 off fm 1010. the sheriff’s spokesman said a search ENSUED INVOLVING dogs, HELICOPTERS, and texas equusearch. however, those efforts were UNSUCCESSFUL in locating the man. the sheriff’s department has also contacted larry baker’s known family in pennsylvania, and they have not heard from nor seen the missing man. local officials have also listed the plum grove resident with state and federal data bases for missing people. steve green said larry baker suffers from DEMENTIA and has limited mobility. the missing 54-year-old is described by officials as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and 170 pounds. he has hazel eyes and brown hair. anybody with information on the whereabouts of larry baker sr, age 54, of plum grove is asked to call the liberty county sheriff’s department at 936-336-4500. |
