dwi training news story 02.05.10 a free dwi training for peace officers and prosecutors will be offered on march 12 at the liberty center at city hall. this regional joint training will be hosted by The Offices of Liberty County District Attorney mike little, Liberty County Attorney Wes hinch, and Chambers County District Attorney Cheryl Lieck. According to information on this day-long seminar, Texas continues to lead the nation in per-capita alcohol-related traffic fatalities. successfully investigating and prosecuting these cases require all law enforcement work, train, and learn together. This free program is specifically designed to bring together peace officers and prosecutors in this area to learn and discuss the latest strategies and techniques for investigating and prosecuting DWI related offenses in Southeast Texas. this regional DWI training will cover changes during the recent 81st Texas Legislature affecting DWI investigation and prosecution. trainers will also discuss case law, new Techniques and Defenses, Courtroom Testimony, plus Crime Scene issues. the hosting agencies encourage All law enforcement officers and prosecutors to attend this Regional Joint Peace Officer and Prosecution seminar on march 12 at the liberty center.
