CLEVELAND gambling raid 01.16.10

several law enforcement agencies were involved in a raid on another game room near cleveland friday morning. that raid took places at a business known as beaches along u.s. 59 north of the city. according to cleveland police chief mark bradshaw, friday’s raid was the result of an undercover investigation.

joining officers from the cleveland police department in that raid were pct. 6 constable royce wheeler, pct. 2 constable les hulsey and at least one dps trooper. constable hulsey said five individuals were arrested and computer boards from gambling machines were seized.

cleveland pd captain scott felts said each of those arrested were charged with 3 different class a MISDEMEANORS – gambling promotion, keeping a gaming place, plus possession of a gambling device, equipment or PARAPHERNALIA. charged with these three counts were john wayne dodge, 28, of shepherd, bradley beach, 30, of shepherd, and arnulfo solis, 53, of point blank. also charged were amber hopkins, 38, of livingston, and john aldridge, 37, also of livingston. again, all five were charged with three different gambling offenses following a friday morning raid led by the cleveland police department on a GAME ROOM named beaches along u.s. 59 in north cleveland.
