a reminder - dayton chamber of commerce will hold its ninth annual banquet this friday at the new community center. this year’s keynote speaker is jim mcingvale - owner of gallery FURNITURE. the dayton chamber will recognize four outgoing board members - cliff richey, brooks hiller, terri bean, and betty tankersly. new incoming board members are maria trevizo, laura evans, susan giberson, and brent harrison. the chamber will also ACKNOWLEDGE outgoing board president arron holbrook with american rice growers. state rep. john otto will then pass the gavel to the new dayton chamber board president richard till of williamson propane. the night’s activities also include a silent auction, dinner, music, and dancing. the meal will be CAESAR salad, CHICKEN cordon bleu, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, roll and desert. complimentary wine will be available. the ninth annual dayton chamber of commerce banquet is this friday at 6:30 p.m. at the new dayton community center - 801 s. cleveland. cost is $30, but tickets will not be sold at the door.
