BLACK HISTORY PROGRAM

The Liberty County Historical Commission WILL HOLD ITS Annual Liberty County Black History Program THIS Sunday From 3 to 5 p.m.  The program of music, awards, speeches and special presentations will be presented at THE Liberty Center IN Liberty City Hall, 1829 Sam Houston Avenue. THE Rev. Ronnie Henderson will deliver the KEYNOTE during the program.  Several individuals from across the county will be honored with Black Heritage Awards.  A special award will honor the late Rev. Paul Cross, longtime pastor of Turkey Creek Baptist Church in Liberty. THIS ANNUAL BLACK HISTORY PROGRAM, PRESENTED BY LIBERTY COUNTY HISTORICAL COMMISSION, IS THIS SUNDAY BEGINNING AT 3 P.M. IN THE LIBERTY CENTER.
